We have just added three new volumes to
Massachusetts: Archdiocese of Boston Records, 1789-1900, from St. Bernard’s in West Newton. St. Bernard began as a mission attached to St. Mary’s church in Waltham (
records currently available in our Image-Only collection). St. Bernard’s church was dedicated in 1874. The original structure burned down in 1889, but the parish rebuilt a new church by 1890. This update consists of more than 4,600 records and 19,000 names. The newly indexed volumes include:
St. Bernard (Newton) Baptisms, 1876-1894
St. Bernard (Newton) Baptisms, 1894-1900
St. Bernard (Newton) Marriages, 1876-1900
