Today we’ve added 18 new volumes to Massachusetts: (Image-Only) Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston Records, 1789-1900 from Sts. Peter and Paul in South Boston. Sts. Peter and Paul parish grew out of the congregation that originally began worshiping at the St. Augustine Chapel. Sts. Peter and Paul Church was dedicated in 1845. The original church building burned only three years later in 1848 in a fire with unknown origins that may have stemmed from a larger fire not far away. The new church building was not complete again until 1853. This update adds over 4,500 new images to browse.
